NBA Women Forum Kaduna Hosts Virtual Webinar on Medical Law and Social Justice — April 10th

The Nigerian Bar Association Women Forum (NBAWF), Kaduna State Chapter, is set to host a compelling virtual webinar on Thursday, 10th April 2025, by 11:00 AM via Zoom.

Themed “Exploring the Intersection of Medical Law and Social Justice: Women Lawyers’ Perspective,” this webinar will serve as a vital platform for dialogue, learning, and strategic empowerment.

The event aims to dissect the complex relationship between medical law and social justice, particularly from the lens of female legal professionals.

It will also delve into strategies for amplifying the impact of female lawyers in the human rights sector, equipping participants with tools to enhance their advocacy and leadership roles in society.

The National Chairperson of the NBA Women Forum, Huwaila Ibrahim Muhammad, will lead a distinguished panel of participants. Anne T.U. Ibinola, the State Lead of the NBAWF, Kaduna Branch, will serve as the Chief Host, ensuring that the discussion remains rooted in local realities while echoing national relevance.

The keynote address will be delivered by the Guest Speaker, Dr. Sani Abdullahi Ikara, a respected voice in healthcare law and public policy. Dr. Ikara is expected to provide deep insights into the ethical and legal obligations within medical practice, patient rights, and access to justice.
