Justice Binta Nyako to Deliver Keynote Address at NBA Women Forum 2025 Annual General Conference

The Nigerian Bar Association Women Forum (NBAWF) has officially announced that Honourable Justice Binta Nyako, an eminent judge of the Federal High Court of Nigeria, will serve as the Keynote Speaker at its much-anticipated 2025 Annual General Conference.

Justice Nyako, who hails from Katsina State, is widely celebrated for her distinguished legal career and her dedication to advancing justice and gender equality.

Beyond her current role on the Federal High Court bench, she serves as the President of the International Association of Women Judges (IAWJ), an esteemed global body committed to strengthening judicial systems and promoting the visibility of women in the judiciary worldwide.

Justice Nyako’s journey is marked by historic achievements and transformative leadership. Prior to her current international role, she was the President of the National Association of Women Judges of Nigeria, where she championed the cause of women within the judiciary.

From 2014 to 2017, she made history as the first female Chief Judge of Bauchi State — a milestone that underscored her dedication to excellence and her trailblazing impact on the Nigerian legal landscape.
